I say this because if you have a budget of £500 to make a 5 minute video then you will be limited at a small camera crew of one camera (maybe a DSLR) and basic edit package. If you have a budget of £10,000 then you have more options of higher spec cameras and larger crews consisting of directors, make up artists, runners, camera assistants and boom operators.

Adding in a director to take care of content, a C300 or RED camera, dedicated sound recordist, music, bespoke motion graphics. Maybe specialised filming like car shots or aerial filming all add up.

If you need a single cameraman with full interview shooting kit this is generally priced at £850 with an edit or £480 without.
